The
LORD Speaks
1 Then the LORD
answered Job out of the storm
2 "Who is this that darkens my counsel
with words without knowledge?
3 Brace yourself like a man;
I will question you,
and you shall answer me.
4 "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
6 On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone-
7 while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels [a] shouted for joy?
8 "Who shut up the sea behind doors
when it burst forth from the womb,
9 when I made the clouds its garment
and wrapped it in thick darkness,
10 when I fixed limits for it
and set its doors and bars in place,
11 when I said, 'This far you may come and no farther;
here is where your proud waves halt'?
12 "Have you ever given orders to the morning,
or shown the dawn its place,
13 that it might take the earth by the edges
Introduction
The lord has spoken to Job out of a
traumatic situation. How have we been responding to adversities?
Firstly the Lord has Spoken out of the storms of the mans life
The LORD Speaks
1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the storm. He said:
· Can you test today if you are going through a storm?
· Are you in a situation that you think you cannot get out
of?
· Are you tired of trying?
· Are you sleeping and getting up emotional and mental tired?
· Are you doing the same things over and over without
positive change?
Secondly the counsel of men have proven to be useless
V:2 "Who is this that darkens my counsel
with words without knowledge?
· The impact of Empty diagnosis
· Counsel of the ungodly
· Stalemate associated with Limited sight
· Power of the negative suggestion
· The Idea that there is no God cannot be comprehend
Thirdly When you are confused and loosing hope here are some
questions you can ask,
· Have you questioned yourself lately?
· Who put the stars in place?
· Who causes the new moon to show up consistently?
· Who among you can exhaust God?
3 Brace yourself like a man;
I will question you,
and you shall answer me.
Pull your self square and ask your self some questions
4 "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
6 On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone-
7 while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels [a] shouted for joy?
8 "Who shut up the sea behind doors
when it burst forth from the womb,
9 when I made the clouds its garment
and wrapped it in thick darkness,
10 when I fixed limits for it
and set its doors and bars in place,
11 when I said, 'This far you may come and no farther;
here is where your proud waves halt'?
Have you considered the Dimension of your dominion?
Gen:1 :28
And God blessed them and said unto them be fruitful and multiply and
replenish the earth ,and subdue it: and have dominion over the fowl
of the air ,and over every living thing that moveth on the earth.
Psalm 22
25 From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly;
before those who fear you [e] will I fulfill my vows.
26 The poor will eat and be satisfied;
they who seek the LORD will praise him—
may your hearts live forever!
27 All the ends of the earth
will remember and turn to the LORD,
and all the families of the nations
will bow down before him,
28 for dominion belong to the LORD
and he rules over the nations.
29 All the rich of the earth will feast and worship;
all who go down to the dust will kneel before him—
those who cannot keep themselves alive.
30 Posterity will serve him;
Have you considered the Authority God has given to you?
What is your response to adversity
What is your response to difficulty
What is your response to divine possibility
There are two kinds of responses:
1. The passive response
Job's response was a passive one to his adversities
What can be considered as passive?
· We leave God out of the picture
· Allowing things to take place
· Complaining and feeling sorry for your self
· Exploring the blame game
· When we respond in fear and not faith
2. The active and inform response
· Many people stay down longer than they should
· The need for a more than a conqueror spirit
· Using the dimension of your dominion
· Taking responsibility to command your morning
· Ask and it shall be given Seek and ye shall find, knock and
it shall be open.
In your storm you can command your morning if you keep in mind these
five things about God.
1. The father through the son is laying the foundation to
facilitate connectivity
2. The father through the process of synergy is making it
difficult for us to be turned down by Him
3. The power of God .the passion of Christ and the penitent man
is able to experience new reality.
4. God is not Intrusive in his nurturing but by our response to
his invitation he makes things possible.
5. Because of our connectivity with purpose in our asking we are
able to glorify the son
Conclusion
